Well, I told myself I wasn't going to start watching another t.v. show, figuring I had one too many on my plate. Apparently, I was lying.
I had heard of Supernatural maybe a year or two ago and I wasn't interested because I had just gotten done watching Buffy and Angel. I felt like I needed a break from shows that dealt with the otherworldly and t.v. in general. So I did until I became interested in Heroes and Dollhouse. Than my attention was snagged by Sci-fi and I took to watching Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly/Serenity. I'm thinking about watching Stargate, having already watched the movie that started it all.
Finally though, I broke down and started watching Torchwood (albeit still Sci-fi-y) and I started eying Supernatural. I've only watched three episodes of Torchwood but I'm enjoying it. However, I've focused my attention on Supernatural for now (and thoroughly enjoying myself). I'm on season two and nearing the end.
I have to say, out of all the episodes so far, Tall Tales was the funniest one. I watched it last night and I'm still laughing every time I think of it. The last time I laughed that hard was a year ago when I was watching the old 60s Pink Panther movies. I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my face and I was sobbing with laughter (no, I'm not exaggerating). (Shit, I think I'm gonna watch it again tonight). Anyway, I'm watching it with my dad (we have the same taste in t.v. shows for the most part [he was laughing hysterically too last night].) Funnily enough, I loved Heart (cause I'm a sucker for angst and I love the fact that it showcases the fact that you can't save everyone, no matter how badly you want to. It kinda reminded my of the Buffy episode Lie to Me, again, that not everyone can be saved. That you won't always win/succeed.)
Ugh, my senior year is killing me (projects one on top of the other). I don't know, all I do know is that I'm tired all the time.
